Join the stage for “JBelly Nights” – a playful, gig-style bellydance show where the stage meets the crowd and entertainment is everything! This is your chance to shine in a high-energy, hafla-style dinner show!! Always wanted to see what it's like to gig... ? Here is your chance to shine!! This is not your standard recital – it’s a playful, gig-style evening, inspired by traditional hafla vibes. Performances will be moving throughout the venue, filled with vibrant energy and crowd interaction. Our goal: to entertain and dazzle. PERFORMER REQUIREMENTS  * Be currently enrolled in weekly JBelly School of RAQ classes and have been consistently taking classes.  * If new to the school, please be registered for several upcoming sessions and stay consistently * Submit your music track for approval by Sept 7th * Submit a short video showing your choreography or style * Book a one-on-one session with Janelle or a school teacher to refine your piece * Professional Costume Attire must be used for the show. We will help with renting one, borrowing, if needed. * Required that you are fully covered and audience does not see your costume prior to performance. Professionalism! * Help with selling at least 2 tickets. https://www.janelleissis.com/jbelly-hafla * Performer Participation Fee WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:   - 1 on 1 coaching 30 Min session with Janelle or another JBelly Instructor of your choice (focusing on music, costuming, advice & movement) - Live DJ "DJ Fatin" playing your music and adding seamless transitions from dancer to dancer. - Live Drummer Accompaniment by Zafer Tawil - Spotlight Follow (our goal is to have an old school spotlight following you throughout your performance in the venue) this is NOT a stage show. - A 30min mini class with Janelle on site 5:30-6:30 prior to your performance focusing on Stage Presence - Projection - Audience Interaction, Appropriate Tipping. - Promotion, Admin needs STYLE REQUIREMENTS:
This is entertainment-focused! Bring joy, sass, personality, or storytelling. Props, floor work, and crowd dancing are welcome – as long as it's polished, safe, and performance-ready. You will have a 2-4 Minute Time Limit. Please fill out the booking form with as much information as possible!! Once registered Janelle will reach out to directly to start working together.
