Ya Rouhi "My Soul!" JBelly Jewel Student showcase for friends and family. Indulge your senses in live classic middle eastern music, a nice meal, and a delicious beverage while cheering your beloved dancers on! This will be many dancer's first time ever performing with live music!

  • $25 VIP Seat at a Front Row Table (limited availability) 
  • $15 Bar/Standing Room (Available starting September 15th) 

 $15 cash after 8:00pm Plus 1 drink or food item if seated at the bar or 2 drink or food items if seated at a table

TABLE RESERVATIONS: after purchasing your ticket/s you will be directed to select your seat/s. If VIP the seat you choose will be your seat at the show. For  General admission tickets the seat you choose will most likely not be your specific seat at the show. General Admission will be seated first come first serve.

Live Music feat. 

  • Zafer Tawil  | An accomplished Palestinian musician based in New York City, Zafer Tawil is a virtuoso on oud, violin, and qanoun, and is a master of Arabic percussion. He has performed with numerous musicians, ranging from the pop star Sting to avant-garde composer/performer Elliot Sharpe to masters of Arabic music such as Simon Shaheen, Chab Mami, Bassam Saba, and George Ziadeh, among many others. Zafer has composed music for a number of film soundtracks, most recently Jonathan Demme’s My Favorite American (not yet released), Rachel Getting Married, andthe documentary Until When. He has held workshops on Arabic music at numerous universities throughout the United States. CDs include “Mumtastic,” by Shusmo; Gaida Hinawi’s debut CD, “Levantine Indulgence”; and two CDs by Amir AlSaffar’s Two Rivers: “Two Rivers Musicians,” and the yet-to-be-released, “Enaana.

Guest Performances 

  • Alura: Specializing in the art of Egyptian-style dance, Alura pulls from her training in a variety of dance genres, including samba, Jazz and Afro-Caribbean dance. Alura currently dances with Raks Al Zahra under the direction of Natalie Nazario since 2019. Her previous experience includes dancing as one of the original members of the Dalia Carella Dance Collective, as well as PURE performance projects with Kaeshi Chai. She also served for many years as the Artistic Director of CU Raqs Sharqi at Columbia University, where she completed her Masters in Socio-cultural Anthropology. At the heart of Alura’s love for dance is a desire to continually learn, share, resonate and uplift.
  • Ramzi El-Edlibi: Dancer, Choreographer and musician. Born in Bahrain, grew up in Lebanon. Ramzi is a former Caracalla dance, Co principle dancer. He’s studied with the world most outstanding dance teachers in the world. Mr Vladimir dokodovsky of the Russian Ballet of Monte Carlo and Ustaz Abdulhalim Caracalla of Caracalla Dane Co of Lebanon, and many other traditional dances like Flamenco, Kahtak, and Latin ballroom dances. Ramzi has traveled around the world performing in the most prestigious theaters such as Carnegie hall of NYC and Saddlers wills of London. Present time Ramzi is the artistic director of Dance around the World, an arts in education program that bring dance and music to the public schools of USA.

  • Soloists:  *these dancers have trained all month working Janelle and various muscians on their own style, personality and skills. Each unuqie and beautiful in their own way, these fearless women can't wait to share with you their art!
