JBelly Night's Event - light up our upcoming event with helping to create an immersive bellydance experience for our guests! You will perform a few of our 2025 DanceParade routines scattered around the Secret Room Venue, have opportunities to improvise during pre-show seating and enjoy our sweet community. **all seats in the venue will hopefully be sold out. So if you would like to sit with family before & after you perform and have dinner and enjoy the show please purchase a ticket!! You may sit with your family (get up and dance) and sit back down!! Perform for your own family's table or another :) If you are doing a solo in the show as well - please just be mindful and on time changing outfits etc. SHOW DAY Date: Sept 21st Location: Secret Room NYC Time: 5:00-9:30PM 5:00 Set formations with Janelle 5:30-6PM Stage Performance Session (Class) 6:00 breathe and get set for PRE-SHOW improvisation and 1st routine. REHEARSALS - August 23rd, 10 - 11AM - Online Zoom Rehearsal with Janelle - Sept 11th, 8 - 9PM | In-Person Rehearsal with Haleema, ilma & Lorena ***Haleema will be teaching the DanceParade Salsa Belly Routine in her 7-8PM "Raqs Y Ritmo Class" prior to rehearsal - encouraged to join! - Sept 21st, 5pm |Day of Show in Venue (set spots for routines - scattered throughout venue) NUMBERS (3-4 Parade Routines) "Salsa Belly" - Hips Don't Lie (Performing with Haleema) "Palestinian Dabke" (Performing with Janelle) "________" not sure yet! :) we will vote on the 3rd option PRE-SHOW as guests are being seating I plan to have a few of you scattered throughout the venue improvising and entertaining! COSTUMING - wearing what we wore for dance parade! - Must have a full coverup, thobe, etc. A very large comfy dress to cover your costume when not performing.
