This workshop is only available in-person in New York City w/ Janelle Issis. ❥ DATE: April 11th 2026 ❥ TIME: 4:30 - 5:45PM ❥ LOCATION: Ripley Grier Studios 520 8th Ave ❥ WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Inspired by the imagery of the ancient Egyptian goddess Isis—often depicted with outstretched wings symbolizing protection, power, and divine presence—Isis Wings have become one of the most breathtaking modern props in bellydance performance. In this electrifying workshop, you’ll learn essential wing techniques and a dynamic choreography designed to elevate your stage presence, with advancement options and modifications so every dancer can grow. ✨ Space is limited, so claim your spot and experience the dramatic magic of dancing with wings! 🪽💃 ❥ LEVEL: OPEN LEVEL **This open-level workshop will be taught at an intermediate/advanced pace, so it may be a challenge for beginners—but beginners are absolutely welcome! Everyone will find something valuable to learn and enjoy as we explore dancing with a partner. Feel free to bring a friend, or you’ll be happily paired with someone in class. 💃✨ ❥ PROP: Isis Wings ❥ PRICE: Workshop Early Bird $28, Regular $32 ❥ WHAT TO BRING ‣ Water ‣ Comfortable dance wear (yoga/pilates/dance clothes) ‣ Bare feet or dance shoes ‣ Optional: Hip scarves (available in class – $15 - $20) ‣ Isis Wings (Janelle will not be able to provide extras for class use, reach out prior if you do not have Isis wings to figure out a plan!) ❥ NOTES & POLICIES ‣ STUDIO CHECK-IN:
