This workshop is available in-studio in New York as well as online zoom! -- ❤︎ -- September 20th, 2025 • TIME: 4:00 - 5:30PM • LOCATION: Loft New York | 16 Pell Street Workshop Info: From earthy steps to floating footwork, this workshop is all about movement that goes places—literally! We will focus on the fundamentals and finesse of bellydance footwork and traveling techniques. Dancers will explore a wide range of steps, patterns, directional transitions, and thoughtfully crafted combinations designed for across-the-floor practice. Special attention will be paid to weight distribution, clean foot and leg lines, and movement clarity. Whether you’re working on performance presence or refining your dance vocabulary, this session offers practical tools to elevate your movement and mobility onstage and in the studio. Bring a veil as we will incorporate this playful prop throughout the workshop to change up the dynamic and vibe of what we are learning. • DRESS: Bring Water and a Veil (silk preferably) ! Wear something you feel good in, yoga/pilates/dance clothes! Bare Feet or Dance Shoes. Hip Skirts are never required but fun to dance in no coins for floor work class! • PAYMENT/BOOKING: Please book online!
