♥️ Embody heartfelt melodies in this graceful & expressive performance course. Join Lorena to learn a routine set to the timeless music of Lebanese icon Fairouz. Let the melodies and lyrics move you through feelings of warmth, nostalgia, and connection. In this 6-Week Performance Course you will build your bellydance skills from the ground up-- starting with foundational movements, exploring basic layering and combinations, and adding in musicality and expression to bring our final piece to life. This course is designed to help you strengthen your bellydance foundations in a supportive, uplifting environment, connect your movement to the music and embody the emotion of the lyrics, and grow confidence to step into your light and shine brightly for the world to see. 💃 Whether you’re dancing for joy, community, personal growth, or you’re ready to dance with us onstage—you belong here. LEVEL: 🌟 Beginner Best suited for dancers who: * Are completely new to bellydance and excited to develop foundations in a supportive space * Have taken a few classes and want to keep growing your skills with guidance and intention  * Are experienced dancers looking to reconnect with foundational movement and expression 📅 DATES:

6:30 – 7:30 PM (EST) 💰 PRICING: $130 (Early Bird) → Includes 6 lessons + recordings for practice $150 (Regular) → Increases July 29th 📆 PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY | The Calling - "She Remembered Where She Belongs" On December 1st, eligible students will receive an invitation to continue training with Lorena & perform this choreography in our 5th Annual JBelly Showcase Participation confirmation and additional performance fees will be due by December 8th. Estimated Performance Fees * Rehearsals: 4 rehearsals at $15 each ($60 total) (Jan 13th, 27th, Feb 10th, 24th) Subject to Change * Costume: We strive to keep costume costs under $60 * Tentative Show Weekend: March 6th, 2027 (Subject to Change) To be eligible to perform, dancers must be enrolled in Lorena’s 6-Week Course and complete any missed lessons if registering after the course begins. ✨ Learn more about Lorena on our About Page!
