We'll also incorporate the deeper work: developing your own expression, quality of movement, and the kind of presence that changes how you inhabit a stage. All of it taught through joyful and intricate combos, from the perspective of a full-time working dancer with 20 years of extensive knowledge! Recordings available. ❥ About Layla Layla Isis is a renowned performer and instructor of Middle Eastern Dance, and one of New York City's most sought-after belly dancers bringing artistry, genuine warmth, and over two decades of professional experience to every stage and every class. Some of her notable credits include The Bellydance Superstars (intl tour), Temptation of Bellydance DVD, film and television appearances in Sex and the City 2, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Dr. Oz Show, and Martin Scorsese's HBO series Vinyl. On the New York stage, she has performed Off-Broadway and at venues including Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Irving Plaza, and The United Nations. Layla currently performs full time for special events of every kind across the region!
